H5P

H5P is a tool which can help you create rich, interactive content without having to utilize expensive applications or have any prior computer experience.In 2014, wordpress published the first H5P version that had been built. Later, it was created using Moodle in 2017 after being created using Drupal in the previous year. Since these websites are H5P-compliant, you can distribute your material on them, which is already one of H5P's objectives. 

It was created in part to address technological challenges or copyright related issues that people run into while developing interactive material, and as a result, H5P strives to simplify the process of producing interactive content. Because the program is community-focused and suitable for usage at all educational levels, numerous foundations are currently implementing H5P widely.



H5P content can be imported or exported, and it can be viewed or edited in a web browser. Any H5P-enabled website, such as H5P.com, or your own LMS with the H5P plugin installed can create this content. The MIT license is used by the open-source H5P utility, which is completely free.


Gamification

When you’re working with html5 content, it’s possible to build in video-game design principles into your learning. These might not appear as a literal game to be played. Instead, H5P can help introduce subtle game mechanics, which tap into the activity and reward centres of learners’ brains—great for upping engagement in problem-solving or competitive tasks.

Accessibility

The H5P Core team has been working with universities to improve the accessibility features of their tool. As a foundational aspect of H5P, all content has permission options that allow downloads, shares, and embeds.
